After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart Hanoi for a scenic 2-hour drive to Ninh Binh province, a region known for its spectacular karst mountains, misty caves, and rich historical heritage. Our first stop is the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, where you’ll gain insights into Vietnam’s first three centralized feudal dynasties. While the ancient citadel has largely vanished, the temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties still stand proudly amidst peaceful rice paddies and dramatic limestone peaks. In the afternoon, hop aboard a traditional sampan boat rowed by a local, as you glide along the tranquil Ngo Dong River through Tam Coc, often called “Ha Long Bay on Land.” Marvel at the stunning limestone formations, lush rice fields, and cave passages that make this journey one of the most picturesque in Vietnam. After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay, Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival at the pier around noon, check-in and board your cruise. After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and driver for an exciting day trip to Sun World Ba Na Hills, one of Vietnam’s top hill resorts. Take a scenic cable car ride up the mountain, enjoying sweeping views of lush forests and valleys below. The highlight of the visit is the iconic Golden Bridge, a stunning architectural marvel that appears to be held up by two giant stone hands rising from the hillside. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, meet your guide and check in to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to My Tho for a full-day Mekong Delta tour. Enjoy a boat ride on the Tien River, passing floating fish farms and local markets. Ride a horse cart or traditional vehicle to a coconut candy workshop, followed by a peaceful rowing boat ride through coconut-lined canals.
